Composite Panel System in Poole
A company in Poole contacted us about updating the exterior of their industrial building.
The cladding on the outside wall was old, looking rusty and dilapidated, which impacted the overall look of the building and business.
The Project Outline
The clients wanted to transform the exterior of their building, giving it a refresh to upgrade the outside aesthetics while also making sure the structure was as energy-efficient as possible.
Crocker Cladding were briefed to remove the existing cladding and install a new composite wall panel system.
What We Did
We completed the work in a week, minimising disruption to the client so they could maintain their operations while we worked.
In order to ensure efficiency with our work, and to understand the space we would be working with, we undertook a site visit where we determined the best course of action and solution. With knowledge of the work involved, we quoted for the project.
The client was happy with the quote, so we set about making sure we had all the materials ready for installation and arranged a convenient time to complete the work.
We approached the project in several steps:
- Removing and disposing of all metal wall sheets, insulation and a layer of internal plasterboard.
- Supplying and delivering the new Kingspan 70mm insulated wall panel.
- Installing the Kingspan 70mm insulated wall panel.
- Supplying and delivering new drip, verge and corner flashings.
- Installing the new drip, verge and corner flashings around the building.
- Fitting new flashings around the doorways.
The team were able to complete the job using a scissor lift and cherry picker MEWPs.
Throughout the whole project, the team made sure to follow health and safety standards, while also focusing on ensuring their work fitting the new wall panels and flashings met Building Regulations.
We worked smoothly and efficiently, and our site visits allowed the project to run smoothly over the week.

The result of this project is a transformed building exterior that looks modern, neat and professional.
The new composite cladding wall panels are smart and provide thermal insulation, enhancing the building’s energy efficiency and keeping it at a comfortable temperature at all times. We left the client happy with our work at the end of the week.
